One sunny day while strutting through a forest, a farmer found a wee little eaglet. He took it home to nourish and nurse. He placed it in his yard where it ate and learned to behave much like a chicken did. It even clucks like a chicken does.
One day a passerby inquired why the king of birds is now confined and will not fly. “ An eaglet eating chickenfeed is a chicken trained to be. It hasn’t discovered to flutter or soar nor fly and dive.” It behaves as a chicken does so an eagle it nor longer was.
The passerby tried to convince this guy that an eagle was meant to fly. Agreed he did that he wanted to see the eagle fleet. You belong to the sky so spread your wings and fly to the eagle said the passerby. Baffled and befuddled this eagle was muddled. To fly he denied; he proceeded to eat his chickenfeed.
The passerby continued to try to get this eagle to fly. On day two the passerby took the eagle to the roof. You belong to the sky spread your wings and fly said the passerby. Still the eagle scared to fly, would not soar or dive. Baffled and befuddled this eagle was puzzled. A chicken he was meant to be so his chickenfeed he did eat.
Undeterred the passerby took the eagle to a peak that reached the sky. Encouraging this bird the passerby affirmed, “You belong to the sky so spread your wings and fly.” The eagle was flustered therefore he did not flutter. Then something amazing occurred the eagle saw a wild bird, soaring and diving and flying quite high. The eagle now wondered if it too could fly so it took to sky and it flew just as high. Now the eagle no longer needs his chickenfeed, no longer confined it takes to the sky. It flutters and soars and flies and dives throughout the sky.
